Meredith was one of my favorite characters in the books!!!! I love her and I will be so excited if she does get to be on the show. She has her own secrets and is one of the only people besides Elena that will actually stand up to Damon. YAY!!!!

"wow, i can list 100 things wrong with the show, and it pisses me off that they would just cut out a character like that"the thing u have to understand is that with the show being out that can't really go by the book because what would happen if the show does follow the book completely and yet the fans are asking for more then what do they do? they need a story to fall back on thats why the show is so different. at first i was also ticked about how the show was so different but it has to be even if not everyone likes it, thats just how it would work out well :) 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Elena is brown and Katherine Jeremy instead of Margaret Caroline is blonde instead of brown Bonnie should be caucasion(?) not olive and vickie's last name is bennett not bonnies vickie and matt shouldnt be related no meredith aunt jenna should be aunt judith damon has a mustang not a rich car flashbacks should be in italy not virginia fells church not mystic falls The cast and crew never mention lj smith except for credits in the show elena should be a vamp by now from ep. 11. katherine didnt die in a fire she died technically, in the sun the brothers shot each other, not other people shot them elena and stefan should have talked about the vamp business NOT in public! Vickie shouldnt even be dead where is Mrs. Flowers?! and may i go on?.........it does anger a lot of people and the producers should have realized these changes. 3 out of 5 found this valuable. "Yeah where to begin....I really like the TV show more than the book because elena is no a stuck up ***** and two faced, she is kind and has loads of people who care about her. In the book she kind of falls for people and then rejects them five seconds later. I bet steven R. Mqeen was really freaked out that his charater was ment to be a girl. Lol. Meredith will eventually be on the show the writers just haven't figured out how to introduce her yet. My suggestion is to introduce during an arc for Alaric since her and Meredith have history in the book series (maybe make a triangle between Jenna, Alaric and Meredith plus the TV show has been bringing up Klaus on so hopefully we'll met Meredith soon.
