VAMPIRE DIARIES vs TWILIGHT
I used to like Twilight but then I got into TVD and was so hooked. I really love TVD now and Twilight was probably just my childish obsession because now that I look back I think how really stupid I must have been. But still, Vampire Dairies is the best and Damon is epic and HAWT! x

Fans' thoughts on the announced announced cast of The Vampire Diaries?
so glad i'm not the only one who thinks a blonde vampire is a good switch up from the typical dark hair dark eyes, pale skin theme that usually goes on....but then again we have to look at it like with most books that turn to movies/tv shows....nothing is every exactly the same :( such a shame sometimes too

OMG!!! fans of twilight no offense ihate to break it to you but..... vampire diaries has more of a storyline to it. it doesnt repeat itself. in tvd there is more romance, horror, fantasy..... and in the end someone always gains a new enemy so there is lots more cliff hangers. the cast of tvd really knows how to have fun. you know?? it is now season 3 and i have been a loyal fan of the vampire diaries since it first came out. i respect all of you twilight fans but sometimes i ask myself why was i ever a fan of a movie with no cliff hangers,no storyline, and sparkling vampires with no fangs.

Why Vampire Diaries is Better Than Twilight!
"I agree with Anonmously above, Meyer can't write and right now the only vampire books out there is vampire accademy and vampire diaries nothing else compare. okay twilight was cool at one point and another but now its old if i hear another come on no way can vampire sparkle people they have fangs. they're not humans. vampires are not these amazing creatures. you aren't born a vampire. you don't have vampires looking out to see no one is bad. werewolves and vampires do not get along. and REAL vampires are hotter then sparkled ones. and JEREMY GILBERT. STEVEN R. MCQUEEN is on Vampire diaries people. he's hot" Sorry but I prefer the story of Twilight. There was more sexual tension throughout , whereas in Vampire Diaries it's more of overprotectiveness than anything. It unfortunate for vampire fans that no one has taken the teen series Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead and turned it into a movie or series. Vampire Acadamy is by far, more exceptional a teen series than either Twilight or Vampire Diaries. Another amazing series that deserves to be put out there is Jeanine Frost's Night Huntress series but this is an adult series. I think there should be much more out there to argue over than two sub par series that leave so much to the imagination you really can't say who the better writer is. Is it fair to say when they have to leave so much out of the physical relationships that all of us know would be there unless you're a puritan?

Vampires, Shapeshifter, and Werewolves OH MY!
Thanks to the Twilight Saga and maybe Underworld, supernatural creatures are making a comeback. Many good fantasy romance novels are out such as the House of Night series by PC and Kristen Cast, The Vampire Diaries and Night World(which were written about 10 yrs ago) by LJ Smith, Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, and many more. What is your favorite creature of the dark world? My favorite would be a vampire of faerie.
