|Giving props to your Top Contributors is easy - in fact we do some of the work for you. The top contributors cloud on the left rail automatically displays users who've helped out on the site lately if they have a profile image. It's a great way to get members excited to contribute and to introduce new users to your community.||There are many advantages to being a registered member of a site. The main advantage is that you can build a reputation for yourself as a contributor to a particular site by having your username attached to your thread and content additions. Depending on the permissions scheme set by the site creator during the setup process, you may be given expanded options for contribution. You may be able to add new pages, add keyword tags, or edit existing pages. All users are able to post a thread and rate others’ threads or posts.|

How do I send a private message to another site user or moderator?Registered users can send a private message to up to 15 other users and/or moderators in several ways:
Note: You can also send a message to all of the moderators at one time. In the To: field, type the word "All" and you will see the username "All Moderators." Whenever you send a message to all moderators it includes the site creator and any administrators on the site. You cannot, however, send a message to All Registered Users on the site. This can only be done by Moderators and above.
