Two Of A Kind
Chapter 1: Prologue
Charlotte was the sort of person that did anything she wanted. When she wanted a boy: she had him. When she wanted new clothes: she went out and got them. When humans annoyed her: she killed them.
During her childhood, she was a Daddy's girl. He still chose her two brothers over her when it came to the important things- but that was how times were back them. Men were superior to women. But Charlotte's father told her that he loved her as much as he loved Damon and Stefan- and that she was his favorite girl in the world.
Yep. A supreme Daddy's girl.
But then Katherine had flounced along.
She didn't exactly ruin things between Charlotte and her father, but she didn't help them either. Katherine had came along when Charlotte was fourteen years old, Stefan was fifteen. Damon was away at University- probably causing many girls to fall over on their feet. Literally.
Stefan had immediately fallen in love with Katherine- even though she was a year older than him- while Charlotte was perfectly happy to stand on all of Katherine's planted flowers and blame it on the horses.
Charlotte and Stefan had been close once-upon-a-time. She used to get nightmares and since Damon wasn't there and father didn't like to be disturbed, Stefan was always there. He had calmed her down- told her that nightmares weren't real and they were just her imagination. When they were little, they used to play hide-and-go-seek in the gardens- which were huge and very enjoyable to a six year old and a five year old. And during dinner time- they made faces to each other over the table and annoying Damon together.
But all that came to an end when Stefan turned twelve. He said he was too old to play little kids games, and he stopped making faces across the table- instead concentrating on what their father was saying about his education.
Charlotte had been heartbroken. Damon was too pre-occupied in looking at girls to notice her much. For the next few months- she spent a lot of time on her own. And as she did so- she began to notice some things: Stefan was a complete Nerd with a capital N, Damon brushed his hair for a full half-hour every morning, and her father had started paying more attention to the middle-aged female maid- Angelika. He always avoided Charlotte's questioning looks when he gave Angelika more smiles than he did the other servants.
All in all- living with three boys was not fun.
Then Katherine ruined every little bit of love their family had.
Charlotte- at fourteen- was beginning to take more interest in boys. There was a really good-looking boy, Harriet, whose father worked at the stables.
One day, Charlotte disappeared into the stables- and Katherine had caught her kissing Harriet. The old ***** ran into the house and told Charlotte's father about what was happening, and he ran outside- furious- and pulled Harriet off of Charlotte. Harriet's father was immediately fired and Charlotte never saw them again. All the way through dinner that night- her father didn't stop making disapproving glances at her. Even Damon and Stefan looked at her strangely.
Then the next morning Charlotte's father sent her away from the family home to go and live with her father's brother. Charlotte was upset that she had caused such a drama in her family- and burst into tears. Later, when her carriage to France was already, she calmed down. Damon came up to her and gave her a hug goodbye, then Stefan: that was the last time she had ever seen them.
***
Tanya Mai was the person who got anything she wanted, only if someone would simply listen to her. When she wanted food, she had to get it herself' when she wanted a boy, it was only in her dreams, when she wanted clothes, she had to get them herself. When humans ignore her, she cries herself to sleep.
During her childhood, no one cared for her except her nanny Martyl who was her only friend. Her brothers- Damon and Stefan- had their eyes mostly on themselves, and Katherine and her father always dominated over her.
She was nothing but a simple shadow to the world. Hidden, with nothing to hide from.
Tanya Mai preferred to blank out the parts in life she didn't like- and so she didn't remember much about her childhood.
Katherine had tricked Tanya Mai into trouble when she was walking through the gardens. Katherine had destroyed the little statue of her mother, saying that Tanya Mai had hated her mother for dying was very mad at her. Her father, thinking it was Tanya Mai, sent her off to France for four years. But Tanya Mai stayed away for six years when she joined the Russian mafia, where men ran around in coats and guns. But nothing changed between her brothers or father when she came home with a medieval dagger under skirts. They still ignored her, and she lived in a very secluded part of the house with the servants- where she never saw her family.
Then, a very wealthy woman came to Italy when she heard that Tanya Mai wanted to escape from home. Mary Ellen Vonduea, a secret advisor to the queen of England, offered her a place to stay and be educated in the fields of being a great artist. But even that didn't brighten her heart.
She had traveled far away from her home when she had been made a vampire: Scotland, France, Russia, China, Belgium, America. She'd been to them all. But she'd never been accepted there either.
Now in America, Tanya Mai searched for a job to pay her landlady, Mrs Flowers, rent. She had a lot of skills, and when she saw an application for a job at a garage- she decided to give it a shot. Working with boys wouldn't be too hard. They would probably never take any notice of her. But she'd gotten more than she'd bargained for as she- surprisingly- made friends at Dan's Auto Repair Shop. Zane and Conner were wonderful friends, but sometimes she wondered why they were paying any attention to her when they should be seeing her as a shadow.
When her mother fell ill- she didn't even notice. She was too busy doting on all her children- making sure they all had her love and care. And when she died, Tanya Mai's mother gave her her dresses, her maids, and even her most expensive jewelry.
Her father still paid her no attention when her mother was gone, it was the same as ever before. Her brothers got all the attention- as they were boys.
Nobody ever paid attention to Wrench...but is that all about to change?

Chapter 2: Holiday, Anyone?
Look for God's sake Stefan, go away!” Tanya Mai yelled at her brother. She was trying to get the last order of the day done in the garage where she worked. The job needed concentration as she needed to pack the right items so that they could go back to the store they came from, but Stefan- the youngest brother in her family- was annoying her. Again. And above all, she didn't want Stefan hanging around- it only reminded her that she was nothing more than a shadow to anyone. Ever since she was born, her family had treated her like a shadow. But now, as she was finally starting to see a bit of light in her life in the form of Dan's Auto Repair Shop- where she had found real friends- both her brothers had to come tumbling along, a look-alike Katherine in tow.
“All I'm saying is, why do you work in this place? Surely girl's nowadays work in pastry shops and library's, and you work in a garage like a man?”
Stefan was having a hard time finding out why Tanya Mai had chosen to work in a garage, but she waved off his questions. She could not understand why he was showing such interest in her; he never had before. Both brothers had treated her like something they stepped on, and they never spoke to her. All because of Katherine.
It had been a few weeks since they had gotten rid of Katherine, and although her brothers were sometimes nice to Tanya Mai, they gave her hassle too. They wouldn't stop going on about what they thought of her new job.
"Oh well, I have a request," he said to her.
Wrench was surprised. Her brothers never wanted anything from her.
"Let me guess. You want me to fix your car?" she glared at him as she tightened a loose bolt on the piece of metal she was fixing.
He frowned.
"Nope. Come to Florence with Damon and myself."
Wrench was so stunned she dropped her spanner. It hit the side of car she was fixing- so the clattering sound wasn't too bad.
"What?!" she gasped.
She hadn't been back to Florence for a long time- years. But inside she was thinking that if she was back in her birth town, with the only family she had left- she would break down in tears. Her family had ignored her, and she didn't want to get heartbroken by them again.
"We thought- well, I thought- that after everything that's happened: we all need to have a break. After what happened with- with Elena, we all need to get rid of a heap of stress. And we deserve a break."
Stefan had a considerable amount of difficulty saying Elena's name- Wrench noticed. He was grieving immensely. As much as she still resented him for ignoring her when Katherine came along- his grief was not pleasant to her, as Wrench was a kind person deep down. And for his sake only- she agreed to come with both her brothers to Florence.
"Great, I'll book the tickets. Damon has some business to attend to- perhaps saying goodbye to his long list of smitten girlfriends." Stefan seemed extremely unhappy that his older brother could still be interested in women after what had happened to Elena. Damon had always tried his best to steal Elena from his little brother, and he had even cried when Elena had died. But now he was back to his old ways- and he was pretending that nothing had ever happened.
Stefan gave Wrench a little smile before saying goodbye and disappearing through the door of her work station. She was left feeling very confused- her brothers were inviting her to Florence with them? Why on earth did they really want her there?
Wrench took a deep, slow breath before picking up her spanner and putting it on her desk. Then she left her work station to go ask her boss, Dan, for some time off. ***
Charlotte was half-asleep when the doorbell rang.
She was feeling very down because it was her *cough* period *cough*. With female vampires, they only had the feelings of having that time of month- as in, they had the emotional effects of it. Which was a down-right bummer.
Sam and Kian were upstairs playing X-Box, so she had the living room to herself. She had watched the TV for a while now, and she was almost completely asleep when the doorbell rang.
"Charlotte!" she faintly heard Kian yell.
But she didn't answer, sleep was too inviting.
She heard Kian stomp his way down the stairs and to the front door, being sure to whack Charlotte lightly on the head. She moaned and stirred on the couch. She heard the door open, but she was too asleep to listen- and she fell deeper into sleep.
Some time later- she didn't know how long- the door slammed and Charlotte woke up. Damon was lounging on a chair to her left- looking at her. She moaned, and ran a hand through her hair.
"Eeurgh, what do you want Damon?"
Damon smiled.
"You're roommate said you were fast asleep, so I decided to allow you your beauty sleep."
Charlotte was more awake now and she managed to give him an ice cold glare.
"Like I said, what do you want?"
"Come to Florence with your brothers, Charlotte."
"And why the f*ck would I wanna do that for? You two are annoying as hell." Charlotte had been back to Florence very recently- and she had loved it. It was very relaxing to be in her home town, but with her stupid brothers?! She'd probably end up killing one of them by the end- she joked.
"Why, to spend quality time with your brothers. Your family," Damon replied, amused by her boredom to the idea.
"I can spend time with you here," she said coldly.
"Worried about missing your boys?" Damon cooed.
She hissed.
"I'll come if you quit annoying me."
"Why, that was quite a quick admission of defeat, little sister," Damon said, his eyes becoming surprised.
"I know you'll keep pestering me. And I want to sleep. Now go away," Charlotte said, snuggling back into the warm couch pillow and closing her eyes.
She heard Damon sigh, then she felt a soft kiss on her forehead and Damon saying 'sweet dreams, little sister.'
"F*ck off," she mumbled, but her heart wasn't in it as she was too focused on sleep.
He chuckled and made his way to the door, slamming it behind him.

Chapter 3: Window Talk
Wrench stepped into the cozy hotel suite with Stefan right behind her, bags in hand. She and Stefan decided to go for a very cozy, small suite with two small beds and cable and a small bathroom. The big window held a burgundy window seat, overlooking a beautiful view of the quiet streets and lush rolling countries beyond the city. Wrench wasn't disappointed when she felt how lush and soft the beds were. Florence certainly had changed, Wrench thought looking around the soft yellow walls and dark red carpet.
Stefan smiled. "I see you already like the city so far," he observed as she gazed out the window from the bed closest to the view. She turned to him with a cold stare.
"And what makes you think this makes me happy?" she snapped, soudning bored. But really, she loved the view. Even the supply of soap in the bathroom smelled like roses and lavender, which made her mopy mood brighten a bit. It was her favorite scent ever.
Wrench frowned. "I thought Damon was with us," she said as Stefan sat on his own bed, closest to the bathroom. He leaned forward and folded his fingers.
Stefan rolled his eyes. "He doesn't like cozy, cheap suites. So he's staying somewhere more...expensive and fancy." He shook his head at the thought of his older brother.
"Typical," Wrench muttered. The air in the room seemed to feel uncomfortable, like the brother and sister had only just met. Stefan had his eyes to the floor, and Wrench had her eyes on her bag, looking for her shampoo and body wash for a nice hot shower. Neither said anything. Stefan got up and went to the window, sitting on the seat with one leg hugged up to his chest, the other tapping the soft carpet. He started to untie his shoes.
Wrench found her wanted items, and scampered into the bathroom, turning the knobs to make the water hot and steamy. She scrubbed herself clean, squeaky and shiny, and rubbed her head clean. She came out smelling like flowers. She tugged the towel tighter around her chest, covering her breasts fully. Wrench remembered lots of guys mostly staring at her chest whenever she went out with a shirt on that revealed way too much cleavage. She never did that anymore because of it.
Stefan had just pulled on a comfy cotton pants, and was crawling under the covers of his bed, sighing deeply. A small bedside lamp was the only light that was on. Wrench grabbed a long night gown and, pulling it on in the bathroom, slipped under the covers. The sheets were soft and silky, and even the pillows were fluffy and light. Stefan turned off the side lamp, plunging the room into silence and darkness.
Wrench just pulled out her MP3 player, turning to her soft R&B music when Stefan spoke softly.
"Tanya?"
"Hmm?"
"Why do you work at that garage anyway?"
Wrench looked to the side of her bed, and saw that Stefan was watching her with his green eyes. No human could see him watch her, but her vampire eyes were too sharp to dim him out. Dammit for being a vampire.
"And why must you know?"
"Because I feel like I need to get to know you better."
Wrench snorted. "I feel the same way." Not.
"I'm serious. Tell me."
Silence.
"Tanya." It was a command.
"I work there because I made some real friends, and I don't get treated like ****, unlike you and Damon."
"You do know the other reason I brought you here, don't you?"
"Not a clue."
"Guess."
"No."
"Why not?"
"For God's sake, dude. Just say it!"
"Because I want to make things a bit better between us, you, me, and Damon. Try and fix things. Make them like they were supposed to be."
"You always say that. And you never come through."
"Neither does Damon."
"Thanks a lot, Stefan."
"Just saying."
It was quiet for a few more moments. Wrench had thought he'd given up trying to talk to her, but he wasn't finished quite yet.
"I'm so sorry."
Wrench froze, and sat up, switching on the light. Stefan sat up, too, confused.
"What did you say?"
"You heard me." Stefan leaned forward and leaned on his elbow, propping his head up. "I'm so sorry for what I did to you."
"I don't believe you."
"Believe it or not, sweet sister. I'm not lying." His green eyes confirmed this.
Wrench rolled her own eyes. "Just go to sleep."
Stefan laughed, and turned off the light, flipping over on his other side.
Wrench lay awake for a very long time, thinking, before she closed her eyes and drifted off. ***
Charlotte and Damon entered the enormous posh hotel. She'd been in hotels bigger, but every time she was in a huge hotel, she always loved it because she could do whatever she wanted. It was located in the center of Florence, a part where Charlotte had been to before, and the hotel was beautiful.
It had gorgeous light cream outer walls, and had very expensive carpets and decorations on the inside of the entrance lobby. The place was huuuuge.
Damon had had to book just the one room for them as it was all the hotel had left- but Charlotte had still moaned when they got off the plane about having to share a room with her older brother.
The two siblings were now in the huge room. It was fit for a Queen with it's gorgeous golden walls and huge twin beds. The curtains were absolutely amazing- a wonderful light gold colour that matched with the bed covers and carpet. Since she'd been living with the boys, she had gotten used to ordinary rooms, and she had been living with them for almost a year. She was going to enjoy some well-deserved luxury.
"Yipee!" she squeaked, and jumped onto the nearest bed. Damon chuckled. And then a thought occured to her.
"What if I want to bring a boy back?"
Damon's face hardened.
"You're not bringing any boys back."
"Hmm, getting a bit possessive are we?" Charlotte raised her eyebrows at him.
"I don't want to think about you with boys."
"Ah," Charlotte said, plonking her bag onto her bed.
Damon glared at her then placed his bag on the other bed.
"Fancy a night-time walk around the town?" Damon asked.
"Eeurgh, fine."
They walked out of the hotel and started walking around the city of Florence. It was a gorgeous place, and hadn't changed much since the last time Charlotte had been. The market sellers were still there even at the late time- selling fresh bread, pasta and fruit. Some little children on their way home ran by and Charlotte was reminded of the times she and Stefan had run around in their gardens like that.
Oh well, times change. People change.
Charlotte had noticed that they had walked all the way across town to a quiet spot. The buildings were even older here, but they had an ancient beauty with its flowers and vines growing up the sides of the houses- and it was this type of beauty that some new houses in Florence lacked.
While Charlotte was looking the opposite way, Damon looked up at an old hotel in a quiet street that they were currently walking in. This was the hotel that Stefan had told Damon he was taking Tanya Mai to. He spotted Stefan untying his shoes- he had told Damon that he would invent an excuse to get to the window so that he could see if things were going according to plan with each other.
Stefan's green eyes locked on Damon's- and he smiled. Damon's lips twitched back, and he sent a thought towards Stefan.
Where's Tanya Mai?
Stefan's head turned- probably to check if Tanya Mai was watching him. He turned back and sent a weak thought back.
Bathroom. Charlotte?
Damon grinned.
Skulking around.
Stefan shot him a disapproving look that only widened Damon's smile.
"I'm bored," Charlotte suddenly said, turning back to look at Damon.
As he spoke to Charlotte, Damon- out of the corner of his eye- spotted Stefan finish with taking off his shoes and leave the window.
"You're always bored. Come on, let's go back," he grinned back at her, which earned him a pissed-off look from his little sister.
"And what are you so happy about?"
"Oh nothing, my sweet."
Charlotte gave him a 'what the ****' look and stepped around him to go back to the hotel.
Once they returned it was total dark outside. Usually this would have been wonderful to both vampires, but the plane trip had taken a lot of energy out of them- even vampires suffered from the effects of a long plane trip. They were both exhausted.
Charlotte ran into the bathroom before Damon could, and stuck her tongue out at him when he gave her a cold look. She grabbed her shampoo, conditioner and body wash so she could have a long shower, but then decided against it. She was just too tired. But she still left the shower on and stayed in the bathroom just to annoy Damon some more.
When she finally emerged, changed into her pyjamas- trousers and a vest top- Damon gave her an even colder look than before.
"Sorry, girls will be girls, sweetheart," she said, giving him her sweetest smile.
He barged past her and disappeared into the bathroom.
Charlotte was already in bed when he came back out- his hair wet and no top on.
"You know, I've never understood how it's okay for men to walk around half-naked and show their boobies and it's not okay for women," Charlotte said frowning.
Damon looked at her strangely for a while before saying:
"Men don't have breasts."
"Oh yes they do," Charlotte pointed out.
"You're a strange child. You always have been," Damon said, climbing into his bed.
"Why thank you."
Damon turned on his side and tried to fall asleep. Charlotte grew bored of his continuous boring silence and so she did something she hadn't done since the fifteenth century.
She picked up her pillow, crept silently over to his bed, and hit him with it.
He growled while she laughed- but she wasn't aware of him grabbing his own pillow, getting on his knees on the bed, and hitting her back on the side of her head. She yelped and hit him again.
The fight continued until Charlotte was lying on the bed while Damon tickled her into the state where she was laughing uncontrollably and telling him to stop. Damon grinned at her and finally let her go. She jumped back into her own bed. Damon laughed at her and told her to go back to sleep and stop annoying him, and she threw an un-needed pillow at him before snuggling down and falling to sleep.

Chapter 4: Oh, s**t
Club Playlist: ~I Like the Way You Move by Body Rockers ~Love&Sex&Magic by Ciara and Justin Timberlake ~Sexyback by Justin Timberlake ~I Love Rock N Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts ~Wakin Up In Vegas by Katy Perry

Charlotte was shaken lightly awake by Damon in the morning.
"Time to awake, little sister," he said, grinning, and leant down to kiss her forehead before walking away again.
Charlotte moaned and rubbed her eyes tiredly while sitting up in her bed. Damon was already washed and dressed, and at the moment he was looking out the window- staring down at something interesting.
"How long have you been up?" she asked, not wanting to leave her warm, comfy bed yet.
"Around an hour," Damon replied, turning back to look at her. Then he smirked. "I even had a shower, and you still didn't wake up. You must have been exhausted."
"I was."
"Well, I hope you're well rested. We're going to a club tonight."
"Oh, we are are we?" Charlotte said, raising her eyebrows. Damon never stopped telling her what to do- but she never did what he said anyway.
"It's a blood bar for vampires."
Charlotte was surprised. She hadn't known there was one in Florence- and she had never been to one before. But she wanted to annoy Damon more, so she said:
"And if I don't feel like coming?"
Damon looked her straight in the eye- unsmiling. "Then I'll drag you there."
"Oh you are a sweetie in the mornings aren't you," Charlotte yawned, and lay back in her bed again.
"Get up."
"Nope," she sighed.
Damon grunted angrily and sat on her stomach.
"Damon, what the ****?! Get off!" she coughed, trying to sit up.
"Are you awake now then?" Damon sounded amused.
"I'm gonna moan all day, you know!" she yelled.
Damon laughed and stood up. Charlotte snarled at him.
'Don't ever sit on me again, *******. And you need to lose weight, you weigh a ton." And with that, she grabbed some clothes and flounced into the bathroom for a shower. She heard Damon send a thought at her:
You girls are so dramatic.
"Stefan's worse!" she called, answering him out loud.
She heard Damon laugh, but then she heard him swear at her loudly because she slammed the door- loud enough to deafen a human.
Charlotte did moan all day- and Damon got so annoyed that he even called someone to let out all his anger to. Charlotte had no idea who he called, as she wasn't really listening.
That night, Damon finally convinced Charlotte to go to the blood bar with him. Damon didn't dress up any more than he usually did- but he put on a more-expensive shirt than his usual ones.
"Damon, go away for a minute, I need to get changed," she ordered him.
He looked up from where he was sorting through his clothes and smirked at her bossy manner.
"I'm your big brother. I don't care about seeing you undress."
"Huh. But I still don't want my big brother to see my boobies," she said back, crossing her arms across her chest in a stubborn way.
"Charlotte, let me put it this way: I don't care about seeing you undress. And I'm busy anyway, I don't want to move."
Charlotte huffed.
"Fine then," she said, sighing- and took off her top.
She quickly changed into her fancy stuff- a short, sparkly black dress and small heels- but she found that she didn't mind undressing in front of her brother. After all, he was family.
"You look very beautiful, Charlotte," Damon said smiling.
"You don't look too bad yourself. Ready to go?" she asked, bored already.
They displayed their fangs to the bouncer at the door of the club and walked straight in. The bar was gorgeous with illuminating red lights covering the floor around it- red for the colour of blood.
"Wow," she said.
"I have to see someone, excuse me," Damon said, leaving her side and disappearing somewhere.
Now Charlotte had a chance to mingle in peace. There were a few good looking vampire boys standing by the bar, so she went up to say hello. They all stared at her- obviously because they thought she looked so hot. She spent a while chatting to them- but, because she was Charlotte- she got bored very quickly and said goodbye to them. But just as she was away to go to the bar to get another drink, she heard- or rather felt- Damon's Power calling her to him. Annoyed, she went to see what he wanted- and found him in an alleyway just down leading down the bar... ***
"Oh, no! I am not going out to a damn club! This outfit is bad enough, but a club is just cruel!" Wrench screeched at her brother, throwing down her shirt in anger.
Stefan pulled on a black polo shirt and black jeans that hugged his body perfectly and buttoned it up, leaving two buttons undone to show his long, sexy throat. "Tanya, it's no big deal. And it's not a club. It's a blood bar. There's a difference," he explained reasonably. But as usual, Tanya Mai was being practical and stubborn.
Tanya Mai hissed at him, plopped down on her bed, her back to him, pouting, arms crossed over her chest. She wore nothing but a bra and tight black jeans, and she would've looked immodest to her father if she walked around his house in her bra and jeans, showing great amounts of skin to her brother.
Stefan felt bad that he was forcing his sister to have fun, but it needed to be done, and Damon was probably already on his way with Charlotte, so he knew he needed to hurry. But Damon already was impatient. Stefan's cell phone ringed, and he opened it up.
"Stefan," he answered.
"Are you going to hurry up or what? Our youngest sister is driving me crazy, and she won't shut about about being bored." Damon's amused and frustrated voice actually made Stefan crack a smile.
"Not my fault you wanted to take care of her instead of..." He stopped mid sentence, knowing he was speaking with Tanya Mai in the room. He opened the window and climbed out, making his way to the roof tops.
"It's not my fault you wanted to take care of Charlotte instead of Tanya Mai. So don't come crying to me," he replied. Damon growled in anger."Just get her ass down here before Charlotte starts killing me from boredom." The line went dead. Stefan stared at his phone for another minute before laughing himself back into the hotel room.
Tanya Mai was in her former position, pouting with her arms across her chest. Stefan felt really bad. He walked up, sat right behind her, and started to twist her hair into a elegant french braid.
Tanya Mai touched her hair when he was done, and he handed her a shirt. A top with no sleeves, but covered up the cleavage fully. Black velvet, with diamonds encrusted on the hem.
"Please; for me," he begged with his green eyes. She hesitantly took the shirt and slipped it on over her strapless bra, and after Stefan had tied on his shoes and Tanya Mai slipped on an old pair of biker boots, both vampires left the suite.
Stefan and Tanya Mai opened their mouths wide enough to show their canines, and were able to go inside. Wrenhc had no idea that Stefan knew about a place like this, but it wasn't a disappointment. Dim flash strobes shined across the dancers, and small private booths had couples kissing or making out or doing other things Tanya Mai was too scared to know about. Stefan had wondered off to the dance floor, and Wrench made her way to the bar. She sat down heavily, her boots clinking when the boot buckles clinked together.
"A Corona Light with a lime, please," she ordered when the bartender turned her way. When the guy set it down in front of her, she squeezed a bit of lime into the bottle, then sipped it. Delicious. A guy's favorite drink.
She sat there gloomily for a quite a while, not knowing what was going on outside in the alleyway.
Stefan and Damon talked in low voices.
"Alright, so they're both here. Now what, genius?" Damon snapped, fluffing out his black T-shirt. Stefan rolled his eyes.
"I don't know. Why don't we wait a while and see if they run into each other first?" he said slowly.
Damon sighed. "Enough waiting, Stefan! They need to meet now. Screw them meeting by themselves; go find Tanya and I'll go find Charlotte. Come right back here." He disappeared back inside. Stefan followed, and waited at the door, using a little Power to draw Tanya Mai to him.
Tanya Mai felt Stefan's presence trying to reach her from a door that led outside into a valley, and so she tipped the bartender, then walked to the door.
When she got there, she stopped in front of him. Stefan didn't look too hot all of a sudden.
"What's wrong?" she asked him.
Stefan opened the door to the outside. "This," was all he said.
Two figures were already out there. Damon and...wtf?
The girl looked like a mix of Tanya Mai, Stefan and Damon put together. Her hair was long and curly, and she had Stefan's cheekbones and green eyes. She had Damon's naturally fine hair and attitude from the way they were arguing.
"...so why am I out here?" the girl snapped. From the way she looked and felt, Tanya instantly knew the girl was a vampire. But why did she look so familiar?
"Because there is something that Stefan and I need to tell you," he said, broad arms crossing his chest. His head inclined toward Tanya Mai. The girl's eyes came out of her sockets.
"What the ****...?!" she shouted at Damon.
"You read my thoughts," Tanya answered.
"Stefan who...what..." The girl looked back and forth between the Salvatore brothers. "Wow, my dumb asses for brothers, who the hell is..."
"Your brothers?! They're my brothers, *****!" Wrench shouted.
"Look who's talking, *****! Nobody talks to me like that!" The girl got in Wrench's face and snarled. Wrench snapped her teeth at the girl.
"Okay, girls. Just let us explain..." Stefan tried to ease the tension, but even Damon didn't seem to be wanting to intervene.
"Explain what?" the two female immortals asked at once.
The new girl looked suspicious. "Damon, who is this?"
Wrench gave Stefan a hard stare. "Stefan who is this?"

Chapter 5: Liars
Stefan licked his lips, seeming so nervous his entire frame was shaking. Tanya Mai looked at him, then back to the other girl.
"Tanya Mai, this is your younger sister, Charlotte," he choked, and flinched, waiting for a response.
Damon looked at the girl without emotion. "Charlotte, I would like to introduce you to Tanya Mai, your older sister," he said blankly. Charlotte looked at Tanya Mai with narrowed eyes.
Tanya Mai gave Charlotte one hard look. That's impossible, she thought. But Charlotte had Stefan's green eyes and Damon's fine hair. There wasn't much of herself in Charlotte's looks, but the girl's curves were nearly the same as Tanya Mai's. Charlotte had naturally pale skin, but she had a little bit of a tan. Overall, she was a vision.
Charlotte was just as shocked as Tanya Mai. She took a small step closer and looked straight into Wrench's eyes. Those greens eyes flitted this way and that, searching for any sign of false identity. She didn't find any.
"Oh, it is you. Wonderful," she added, but Charlotte's eyes were cold and hard. Definitely not nice.
Wrench didn't even hear her. She was dumbstruck. She had no idea what to think. She had been trying to get this very person out of her head for a long time. Charlotte Salvatore. She remembered her very well. Up until Charlotte turned thirteen, she had been a sweet young girl. But when she turned thirteen, she became a bitchy ***** in her teen years. Charlotte probably heard that, because she hissed at the thought.
Charlotte Salvatore was the ultimate daddy's girl. She flattered all the boys around her, and even dazzled her father. He always used to gloat to his friends about having such a daughter like Charlotte, and was always looking for the right man for his special little girl. Charlotte hated Katherine as much as Wrench did, but Charlotte made Wrench even more angry.
The girls were six years old, and Charlotte was playing Hide and Go Seek with Stefan while Tanya Mai sat in her window seat, playing with her dolls by herself. Damon was off with his private tutors, and Martyl was on her break with a friend. Tanya Mai was hugging her doll called
Elizabeth and she cried for hours, rocking in her seat, longing for a friend.
At dinner, she rarely sat with the family, sitting alone in her bedroom. But when she did join, she ate sparingly, picking at her food dis-contently. She noticed Damon talking to her father, and Charlotte and Stefan made funny faces at each other, giggling while silently throwing food at each other.
When in the garden, Stefan and Charlotte would chase each other while Tanya Mai sat by the fountain's edge, tracing figure eights in the water. Damon would be riding horses with his father, and Tanya Mai watched Martyl walk around and water the potted plants.
Tanya Mai's room was next to the servants quarters, and Charlotte's was next to her fathers.
Tanya Mai came back to the present, staring at Charlotte opened mouthed. Charlotte was frowning at Wrench's shocked expression.
"Um...are you gonna talk or are you gonna stand there and be a goldfish
for the rest of your life? Cause I'm getting bored with you," she asked with a little clip to her words. Yup, definitely Damon's temper and attitude.
Stefan shook her arm. "Wrench?" he whispered. Damon waved a hand in her face, frowning.
She was numb. No. No more pain, God. Please, Wrench thought.
Charlotte snorted.
"Wrench? What the hell have I missed these last few years for you?" she laughed, examining her manicured nails.
No feeling. Just numbing pain. Opened mouthed. Shocked beyond life itself.
Charlotte smacked her across the head. "Oi! We're talking to you."
No more pain, God. Please, no more pain.
"Tanya Mai!" Damon shouted at her.
She turned to him with tear filled eyes.
"No more pain, God. Please," she said aloud, backing up towards the blood bar. Charlotte asked Damon, "Is she demented or something?" Damon smacked her shoulder, smiling.
Stefan was more gentle. He had his hand out, offering Wrench peace and help.
"Tanya, please. Just let us explain," he said quietly, taking a step closer. She mirrored his step as she backed up faster.
"No more pain. Please, God. I beg you," she whispered to no one in particular. Damon also started to come forth. But this was just too much for Wrench. Wriggling out of Stefan's grip when he caught her she sprinted to the door, and ran across the dance floor, out the blood bar door shifting, and the raven took off without any place to go. ***
Charlotte just stood.
Great, now I have a demented sister as well as demented brothers- she thought.
She had never liked Tanya Mai. She had forgotten all about her- but what she did remember was never understanding why Tanya Mai was so miserable all the time. Charlotte had always thought of her as selfish- she was always going on about how lonely she was to the servants. Charlotte really wanted just to go up to her and say 'Hey look, the world doesn't revolve around you. Get used to it.'
Yes, Charlotte had loved her father. But she also resented him for favoring her brothers over her. And then Katherine had came along, and both Charlotte and Tanya Mai were lonelier than ever. Charlotte had started to rebel soon after Katherine came along, instead of Tanya Mai who was swamped in her own loneliness. They were completely different: Charlotte fought back, while Tanya Mai's loneliness gets struck once again.
Charlotte now turned to Damon, furious that she had been dragged into a trap.
"What the ****?!" she said, snarling up to Damon.
He was completely calm and looked at her steadily.
"Now now, little sister. We thought it was about time you two met up once more."
Charlotte showed her fangs to him and snarled ever more noisily.
"Er, should we go after her?" Stefan mumbled, pointing in the direction of Tanya Mai. He was shifting his weight from one foot to the other uncomfortably, obviously afraid that Charlotte would shout at him.
"Oh, who cares?" she snarled at him. "You do whatever you want, Stefanie. I don't care anymore. I'm done with both of you! And I'm going home now!" she yelled at them both, stomping her foot like a two year old.
She flounced away from them, careful to stand on Damon's foot as she did. She vaguely heard him wince in pain, but then she Changed into a buzzard and flew away.
When she got back to the hotel, she immediately started packing her bags. No way was she staying with Damon anymore. Sometimes she wondered how on earth she was related to both Stefan and Damon. Okay, Damon was a lot like her. But he could be such an ass sometimes- and right now she despised him. And Stefan- ha- he should have been born a girl, that way his girly attitude would be accepted by everyone- no questions asked.
Her bags were packed, and she pulled out her cell phone from her bag and called a cab. She had no money, but she didn't need it. She would just use her Power to make him forget her.
The cab pulled up just outside the hotel, and she gave the boy driving her bags. He was rather good-looking, and he was staring at her in her tiny dress like he would rather be just picking her up instead of picking her up in a cab and getting paid for it.
She climbed into the cab and he drove her straight to the airport. She used her Power on him in the car park so that she didn't have to pay. She then erased his memory, but then she gave him a long kiss- he was a very good kisser- which she did let him remember.
There was a flight for Virginia leaving in twenty minutes, and so she checked in for that one. While she waited in the departures lounge, she remembered Lee. He would be shocked that she was home so early- she had only been gone for a day.
Not long after, she was on the plane- sitting at the window seat in the back row. It was extremely cold back here- but she didn't feel anything, vampires weren't really affected by temperatures.
She felt rather than heard somebody sit down in the seat next to her, and she looked round. And growled at who she saw. ***
Damon walked into his and Charlotte's room with Stefan hot on his heels. He saw Charlotte's cupboards were empty and he growled.
Stefan stepped past him and scurried up to the cupboards, opening them further to check if there was any clothes still in it. Then he looked up at Damon with a shocked expression.
"She's gone," he said.
"I can see that," he hissed back at him. He felt responsible for Charlotte, as she was the youngest of the family and he was the oldest- and now he didn't even know where she was.
"Where do you think she went?"
Damon just gave him an angry hiss- frustrated that Stefan was being so thick today.
"Well we need to know! What if she does something stupid?! She's our little sister, Damon!" Stefan didn't look very annoyed anymore: he just looked defeated.
"She said she was going home. We need to get back to America. Call the cab. I'll go find Tanya Mai. Perhaps she knows where she is."

Chapter 6: Cab Home For All?
"No! I'm not going to talk to you, Damon! You lied to me! You said that I had you and Stefan as siblings, but you never mentioned a sister!" Tanya Mai had run off to Venice, but Damon followed her without any trouble, and now he was trying to find out where Charlotte had disappeared to.
But Tanya Mai was so pained and furious that she was screaming at him from the top of a huge Venice clock tower. It was at least a hundred stories high, and someone was bound to hear them because she yelled so loudly.
"You ******* lied to me, Damon! I swore in blood to protect you and to always be there for you and to tell the truth, but I guess that doesn't matter anymore to you! Why didn't you just tell me in the first place, you bastard?!" she screamed at him. Damon stood there, still as stone, letting his sister yell at him. Tears streamed down her precious cheeks, and her voice and face hurt badly from being so mad at him and crying for hours.
She shoved at his chest. "I ******* hate you! I hate you so bad I want to kill you! You and Stefan both!" She was going to scream more, but she broke down, falling to her knees, weeping so badly she couldn't continue. Damon didn't really know what to do. He just watched her cry. Wrench was hugging her sore chest, trying to make the pain stop.
Tanya Mai's brothers were nothing but big liars to her. They kept things from her and they used to lie to her, and they still did, too. She just wanted it to stop. Wrench flew into a fury. She attacked Damon, hitting his chest, kneeing his legs, teeth trying to bite his neck. She shoved her weight against him, making him stumble. She smacked him really hard, leaving a painful bruise on his cheek. That bruise was going to be visible for a few days, he thought.
Damon caught her with his arms, encircling her with his strength. She wiggled in his grip, but he squeezed his arms around her, crushing her to him. Her face was hidden in his shoulder, and she yelled at him to let her go. He didn't.
"Tanya Mai, just listen to me. I know that I lied to you about Charlotte, but Stefan and myself felt like now was the perfect timing because you wouldn't have believed us if we told you earlier. Stop it!" He restrained her flailing arms. "Just go home and go to Zane. We're not asking you to be friends with her. We just wanted you two to meet, that's all. You won't have to see her again after tonight, alright? Now go to Zane. You need him more than anything." He loosened his grip slightly. Wrench was limp in his arms, sobs breaking her breathing pattern.
He patted her back. "Just go home, sorella."
Wrench did what he told her, but she smacked him again before she flew back to the hotel in the form of a raven. It took only thirty minutes to get back to Florence, and she snuck into the hotel room through the window. She packed her one suitcase, she barely brought anything with her, and took a cab to the airport, crying the whole way. The cab driver was so sympathetic to her, trying to say soothing things to her, and when he arrived at the airport, he even rejected her payment for the ride.
"It's a free ride for you, ma'am. Have a nice night, okay?" he flashed a sweet smile before taking off. She nodded, and wiped away the stray tears on her face before entering the airport. She waited for the plane to arrive, and boarded with grief and thoughts of Zane Borington's sweet, handsome face.
She sat somewhere in the back, next to someone she didn't even glance at, and sobbed just a little bit more. She pulled out her MP3 and sang along with Lady GaGa "Bad Romance."
But a disturbing chill crept up her back. And a snarl came from the window next to her. She turned, yanked out her headphones, and gasped.
"What the hell are you doing here?" she spit. ***
Damon returned to Florence, and met up with Stefan at the hotel he and Wrench were staying in. Damon came through the window, limping slightly on his left foot. Stefan, sitting on his sister's former bed, looked up, and did a double take.
Damon sighed. "Go ahead. Ask," he grumbled. His lip was bleeding slightly, and his right cheek was on fire from the pain. His chest was hurting from his sister's smacks, and his shins were on fire. It even hurt between his legs where her legs got him a few times. Damon Salvatore, the king of Power and darkness, was beaten up by his own sister.
Stefan raised an eyebrow. "What happened? Piss her off again?"
Damon growled. "No. She was angry that we didn't tell her about Charlotte in the first place, and she took it out on me." He slowly sat down on the bed, being careful of his hips and sore legs. Stefan sat next to him, sighing.
"Now they know," Stefan murmured.
Damon didn't even say anything snappy back to him
Damon nodded. "Now they know," he answered. Both brothers had nothing else to say after that. All they had to do is wait until the girls meet again, and then let them figure it out. ***
What the ****?! Was this some sort of ******* joke?!
Charlotte stared at Tanya Mai in shock and anger- and the look she got in return mirrored her own.
"What am I doing here?! What the **** are you doing here?!" she snarled. People were turning around in their seats- but Charlotte neither noticed nor cared.
"Keep your voice down, people are looking," Tanya Mai hissed back, darting anxious glances around her.
"I don't care if people are looking! Did Stefan and Damon put you up to this?! Well? Did they?!"
Tanya Mai just stared at her younger sister.
"I thought they told you to come," she said, looking confused.
"No! I am going home," Charlotte was getting really pissed off.
"And where's 'home' for you?" Tanya Mai hissed at her.
"Fell's Church!"
Tanya Mai snarled, then just about yelled:
"******* hell!"
"Careful, people are looking," Charlotte sneered.
By now almost everybody on the plane was staring, and a flight attendant came across with a serious and angry face on.
"Could you two ladies please keep it down or get off the flight?" the snooty nose ***** said, looking at Charlotte in particular.
Charlotte looked the girl straight in the eye, and pretty soon the make-up caked face of the woman was looking at her fearfully- Charlotte smirked.
The woman left hurriedly- not pausing to listen to any of the other people on the flight- and disappeared behind the little curtain that all the flight attendants 'hung out'.
"Fell's Church?! As in my home Fell's Church!" Tanya Mai snarled quietly, obviously not wanting to get kicked off of the flight.
Charlotte blinked. Okay, Damon and Stefan were now taking the absolute piss! They had even been living in the same town!
She started saying extremely angry things about how she was going to kill her brother and etc.- while Tanya Mai just fumed in her anger silently. Then they were both silent- Charlotte breathing rather heavily after a torrent of abusive words had escaped her mouth. She found she actually felt better.
They were silent- and then their eyes met each others, then at the same time, they both said 'eurgh' and flicked their hair away from each other.
Charlotte found that rather funny- and smirked.
"And what are you smirking at?" she heard Tanya Mai ask.
"A bird just flew past the window," Charlotte said blankly, pointing outside- and then started laughing at her own randomness. Christ, she was acting like Stefan!- she thought.
She could feel the stare of her sister on her- obviously wondering about Charlotte's randomness. But then she heard Tanya Mai start laughing a little too.
"You're weird," Tanya Mai said.
"Runs in the family. Only I got hit hardest," Charlotte giggled. She looked at her sister- who was laughing as hard as her now.
"I'm older than you. I can actually call you 'little sister'," Tanya Mai said, smiling.
"No, you can't. I already get enough of that from Damon and Stefan," Charlotte snapped, which made Tanya Mai giggle even more.
The plane journey wasn't as bad as Charlotte could have predicted. She and Tanya Mai didn't talk much- but they weren't giving each other angry looks now. Charlotte could sense that Tanya Mai was becoming more relaxed with her- and she didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.
"You got a boyfriend?" Tanya Mai asked, looking up from her magazine. A pathetic teen mag- Charlotte noticed.
"I'm not sure." There was Lee. But she didn't quite know where she was with him, they hadn't had the 'where are we' conversation yet. They had kissed, but Charlotte had no idea what he wanted.
"Huh?" her sister looked confused. Then understanding replaced the confusion. "Ah. You don't know where you are with him."
Charlotte looked at her sister in surprise. It was never like this with Damon and Stefan: they never just knew. They had to pester and figure it out. Was the quickness in understanding due to the fact that Tanya Mai was a girl, or was it because she was her sister? Charlotte had no idea.
"So what's his name?"
Charlotte didn't like the snooping, but she told her anyway.
"Lee."
"Mine's called Zane. My boyfriend, I mean," Tanya said, smiling, looking off into the distance- thinking about her boyfriend.
Charlotte just stared until Tanya Mai turned back to her magazine.
Charlotte fell asleep soon after that. It had been a long day, and she wasn't even changed out of her little black dress. She was exhausted.
She woke up just as the plane was landing. She slowly opened her eyes- and saw Tanya Mai staring at her.
"What the ****?!" she said, rubbing her eyes.
"Sorry, I was just- I dunno. You're my little sister, it's different," Tanya Mai stuttered.
"So you felt the need to shove your face into mine while I'm asleep?" Charlotte said, looking at Tanya Mai in disbelief.
Her sister looked at her.
"That sounds really gay," she giggled.
Charlotte ran over her words in her head, and laughed too.
"Are we nearly there yet?" she asked, rubbing her eyes when the laughter had died down.
"We're just about to land. Did you know that you have freckles on your nose?"
Charlotte's hand shot up to her nose.
"Shut up, I don't!" she snarled.
"You do. They make you look like a little kid. That's probably why Damon and Stefan call you 'little sister'," Tanya Mai said.
Charlotte didn't speak to her for the rest of the flight. Tanya Mai just laughed- thinking that Charlotte's stroppiness was cute. Eeurgh- Charlotte thought. She was rather angry!
Once the plane had landed, they collected their luggage and went to the cab point.
"Wanna share one?" Tanya Mai asked, pointing over to a waiting cab.
Charlotte looked blankly at her.
"Might as well."
They didn't speak all the way back to Fell's Church, and Tanya Mai's stop was first. The cab pulled up beside a garage- but Charlotte thought that she must live next door or something. No way could a relative of hers work in a garage.

"Well, erm, I'll see ya around," Tanya Mai said to Charlotte before climbing out of the cab.
Once she was gone, Charlotte relaxed in her seat and thought of Lee. He would be very surprised to see her back, but he would be very happy. Sam and Kian would give her a hug and then go back to their business- like they always did when she left and came back.
The drive dropped her off at her house, but she didn't pay him- and wiped his memory. She dumped her bags in the living room then ran upstairs to see her room. But on the way she passed Lee's open door, and she looked in- wanting to say hi.
But when she looked in- her heart broke in two.

Chapter 7: Men. Who needs 'em?
Lee. In bed. With another woman. Charlotte gasped, and the two people under the sheets looked up. Lee's expression became panicked- and he grabbed the duvet to cover himself. "Charlotte! God, please- I thought you'd be home later- I- I can explain!" But there was nothing to explain.
Charlotte saw that the girl he was in bed with was none other than Caroline, the dumb blonde that still thought milk came from the sky. The girl didn't look that bothered about getting caught- in fact, she looked pleased. She must have been after Lee for a while, and when Charlotte had left, she had seized her chance.
Charlotte felt like she was frozen while she felt pain flood through her body. She had had no idea that she had felt this way about Lee- they had kissed, but that was it. He could sleep with whoever he wanted- but the fact that he had chosen a dumb blonde ***** over her was what pained her the most.
Lee must have guessed how Charlotte was feeling- as he pleaded to her with his face.
"Please, Charlotte. I never meant to hurt you! It's just you were gone...I thought you'd..." he trailed off, looking guilty and pained.
Charlotte realized her face was frozen in a pained expression while he was talking. She turned around- too stunned by what she was feeling to speak. Her mouth dropped open a little, and she stumbled downstairs again. She paused on the bottom step and leaned against the wall to give her a chance to continue breathing- she had stopped when she had entered the room. She leaned against it- not moving but breathing heavily as if that would make her feel better. It didn't. The pain didn't cease. Tears had started to run down her cheeks- which surprised her. She hadn't been conscious of crying them. The last time she had cried was about a century ago- so to cry now was strange.
She vaguely heard Lee try and get his jeans on while yelling her name- Caroline was yelling at him to leave Charlotte and get back in the bed.
Charlotte robotically unzipped one of her bags and pulled out her black hooded jumper, and put it on before walking outside. A walk would clear her head.
But she froze again when her hand left the doorknob after she shut it behind her. The pain was surprising, and it kept tearing at her heart like sharpened claws. No way had she expected this.
She walked down the pathway- staring blankly down at her feet. Lee came rushing out after hear- wearing only his jeans- and started to run after her. But she couldn't face him- not yet. So she ran fast, and on the way she started crying.
By the time she had outrun him and he had given up finding her- the tears were falling thick and fast down her face. Pools of tears were in her eyes, so her sight was blurry. She walked down the street for a while, and due to the blurry eyes, she didn't notice the boy standing in front of her before it was too late.
"Ah, Charlotte. To what do I owe this-" It was Damon, and he stopped talking as her face wasn't looking at him. She could feel worry emanating from him, and he reached out a hand to her face, trying to tilt her face upward so he could see her. But she shook her head a little- causing more tears to fall down her cheeks.
"Charlotte? Look up for me, little sister," he said in a soft, smooth voice.
She let in a little breath for her crying, and she looked up.
Concern and worry etched into her brother's face- and he reached out with his finger to stroke her cheek lovingly.
"Charlotte."
She looked into his dark eyes- and she knew what he was seeing in her. He was seeing her pain, her heartbreak, her feelings- but most of all he was seeing her for what she was: a young girl. He was seeing her as he had done years ago, as his little five-year old sister, Charlotte.
He stepped closer toward her and opened up his arms. She stepped forward and put her head on his shoulder- crying even more.
He put his arms around her and hugged her while she sobbed. Charlotte knew he would want answers later, but she couldn't think about it right now. She should be pushing him away- become the cold, hard Charlotte again- but she couldn't do that either. The pain was too much.
They stayed there like that for a few minutes, Damon stroking her hair while she cried. When the crying started to cease a little, he picked her up as if she were a child- and he placed her head over his shoulder a little and carried her to the boarding house. They weren't too far away from it- Charlotte noticed.
He carried her inside- somehow managing to turn the handle at the front door- and up to Stefan's room. Her other brother was lying on his bed reading a book- and he looked startled when Damon barged in the room.
"What's wrong? Is she hurt?" he jumped off the bed and walked over to them. Damon shook his head at his brother- looking angry and worried. Angry because he didn't know what had upset his little sister so much, and worry for her. He placed Charlotte on the ground and turned her around gently to face Stefan. She looked up at Stefan, still sniffing and crying. Stefan looked so surprised- he never thought he'd see her cry again, Charlotte just wasn't that person anymore. But then worry came to his face and he stepped forward to give her a hug.
Stefan's arms were much more familiar than Damon's- although Damon's were still familiar in their own way. But with Stefan- it was easier to cry because he had seen her like this before, although a long time ago. He had seen her sob after a nightmare when they were children.
Damon watched them- anger plain on his face.
Stefan at first just held her- unsure of what to do. But then he remembered how to comfort her, and he stroked her hair just like he had done when they were young.
"It's alright, Charlotte. Your brothers are here," Stefan whispered in her ear. ***
Wrench had been through so much that when she got out of the cab with which she shared with Charlotte, and saw Zane was walking toward the dorm rooms, he saw and heard her crying, and ran over to her, embracing her in his warm arms.
"Angel, what's wrong? Why are you home early?" he whispered. God, he smelled amazing. His musky scent blended in with his immortal scent. Yes, her lover was actually her soul mate, and Tanya had changed him so she could be with him forever. He never let her down, and was always there to catch her when she fell. He dried her tears when she cried, and he always made her laugh.
Zane was a true stunner. His hair was night dark and silky, falling low enough to sweep his shoulders. His build was sexy, a sensuous six pack for a stomach, and a lusty chest for warmth. His hands were soft and strong, stroking her hair with long fingers. His body was long and perfect, model perfect. His teeth used to be crooked and a bit yellow, but the transformation from mortal to immortal made his teeth glittery white and straight, and whenever she gave him a juicy french kiss, his teeth were smooth and beautiful.
Tanya felt his chest beat steadily as he scooped her up and raced them both upstairs to his room with his vampire speed. He took off her coat, threw it in a corner, and hastily grabbed a tissue. He dabbed her cheeks gently, catching every tear drop. She blew into the tissue when he covered her nose with it.
She giggled when he tossed it into a trash can. "Sorry to come home like this," she said. Zane gathered her up and laid her in his lap, her face on his shoulder, tipping her chin up to him.
"You never need to apologize for something like that. Just tell me what happened," he replied, kissing her forehead. But she wasn't in the mood. She tackled him, crushing her lips on his, forcing a tongue in his mouth, and they soon lost each other in each other's warmth, growling in pleasure and play.
When it was over, their hearts were beating with wild rhythm. Her black head was on his shoulder, his fingers tracing circles in her back. Their necks stung from each other's lust bites, and Tanya licked her fingers when she accidentally ran her fingers over his throat. Zane chuckled.
"What was that for?" he asked. And he wasn't talking about the finger licking thing.
Tanya sighed, and propped herself up on one elbow, looking into his foggy eyes. His eyes were dark gray, looking so sexy with his black hair and excellent build. She rubbed his chest.
"Well," she started. "I was wanting to have a good time, then it got ruined by a certain somebodys." She stopped at the thought of her younger sister. So now I have someone else to deal with rather than just my brothers. Oh, perfect. She looks so cute with freckles...
Zane was watching her face carefully. "Somebodys?" he said, confused. "You mean your brothers?"
She quickly recovered. She sat up, pulling the sheets with her. He rubbed her shoulders, and waited patiently.
"Okay, here it goes," she murmured. "I have a sister named Charlotte Salvatore and I didn't know until my stupid brothers told me last night, and here's a clue. How old am I?" she ended as Zane was about to ask her how old her sister was. Zane was thoughtful for moment, then asked: "What does she look like?"
Instead, Tanya Mai told him the entire trip, ending with the cab ride with Charlotte. Zane sat up himself, covering his hips. He kept a hand on her shoulder.
"And the worst part is, she lives here in Fell's Church, and she acts just like Damon," Tanya added. She flopped down in the bed again, rubbing her eyes. "She's a pain in the ass, too, just like the other two."
Zane joined her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. She let a few more tears escape, and hid her face in his shoulder. But he saw her, and kissed them away, brushing curls away from her face. She placed a hand on his cheek
"Should I tell the boys anything?" he asked quietly. She nuzzled his chin with affection, flicking her tongue across his bitten spot. The two lovers told every single boy at the shop that vampires existed and that Tanya and Zane were in love and that they were vampires. And every time a vampiric thing came up, the lovers told the boys everything.
"Tell them if they see a girl who looks like me, Stefan, and Damon mixed together, and is smaller than me, then they should be careful because she's such a ho flirting with all kinds of men. And you be careful, too, you sexy man." She kissed his nose, and he returned the affection with a nip to her earlobe.
"Tell me, my darling, when will the day be when I fall for another woman?" he teased, kissing her pierced neck. She shivered. He had her above him, stomachs touching. Her hands were massaging his shoulders.
"Mmmmmm...next millennium?" she asked, giggling like a sissy girl. She moaned.
"Never," he corrected her, and flipped her over, tenderly sinking his teeth back into the bite marks.
