The Mystic Grill (page 2)
Luz hadn't gone with the other women, it wasn't her place and they obviously didn't need her. Besides, she was sure more trouble would find its way to the Grill soon. It seemed there was an abundance of supernatural beings in this small town. To pass the time, she met eyes with one of the men that had been captivated by her and nodded him over for a game of pool. She was in the mood to win a few wagers.
Matt,walks in and thinks, 'This looks like a great spot to chill.' He heads to the pool table,the man there leaves and he extends out a hand, and says to the women there in a perfect Spanish accent, "Hello i'm Matt." then starts to play pool.
Behind Matt, walked in Rashelle. She had heard that this was the place to go in town, and she wanted to get to know people, and meet people, since she was a newcomer in town. Plus, she had heard that weird things go on here. Not weird as in the weather, weird as in supernatural. She looks around the place wondering where to start. She doesn't have the courage to go over to a large crowd, so she goes over to the pool table towards the middle of the room. She notices the Spanish accent that the man speaks in, and the beauty of the woman. "Hey," she introduced herself as she reached the table. "My name's Rashelle, what's yours?"
Luz didn't mind that much when the man walked away from the game, because that meant that she automatically won the thirty dollars he'd bet on the game. She noticed the very distinct scents on both of the newcommers and pocketed the money. The male named Matt was obviously a new vampire, everything about him was sharp and intense. The girl named Rashelle wreaked of human, even the obscene floral purfume wafting from her screamed it. "Mucho gusto Matt, Rashelle. I'm Luz."
Matt,turns to Rashella and shakes her hand then pick up the pool stick again and fixs the balls up and starts to play pool again then looks up and says to Luz you wanna play against me, Then looks at Rashella and give's her a pool stick and says join in * phone starts to buzz* opens it up and looks at the bar to the waiteresse there and says to the two of you "Some woman just fall to hard after just one look" then turns to Rashella and says are you human,gets closer to her then before.
The man moves close to me, invading my personal space, and sending shivers down my spine as he says this. "Uhm.. Yes." I say, trying to act naive "What else would I be?" That is when I notice the proximity of the other woman to me. Her face looked condescending, almost harsh.
Matt.Moves back like he felt your heisting then says i smelled it when i saw you i just asked don't be afired i don't Bite, then looks at you and show you fangs,then turn back to Luz and says "Well Ladies I'm going to get me something to drink" walk past Rashella put stops when I'm only inch's from your face and says here gives you a quick peck on the check and walks Slowly to the bar.
I flinched away from the peck on the cheek, and watched him as he slowly walked to the bar. I'm not usually weird around guys, it's just the fact that that one gave me the creeps, and not just because of the vampire effect.
I look at the woman, Luz, and ask, "Did that guy give you the creeps too?"
Turns to Rashella then Stops time and walks to her puts a pool stick in her hand and a note in the other that reads "I'm New to this vampire thing i wont hurt you i promise would you like to hang-out sometime",then runs back to the bar and bring time back and takes to the bartender there like nothing really happen Because it didn't.Looks at Rashella after i take a long swig from my Jack Daniels,and grins then Flirts with the waitress there and makes her laugh and blush but is really thinking about Rashella,then walks away from the bar getting bored with the waitress lady, and sits at a table.
"I wouldn't call it the creeps. I would just keep an eye on him." Matt's time trick didn't fool Luz, she'd been around long enough to know how to spot the differences. Though she'd never seen a vampire with that kind of power, especially a new vampire. And he obviously didn't know a thing about being discreet, he'd openly admitted to being a vampire to a random girl. That was a good way to get killed. "So what does the note say?" She asked as she racked up the balls.
Pays No attention anymore to Anything,get bored *takes out phone and sighs* Looks around for anything to do then Smells Blood but Doesn't React like most Vampires Would,Overhears what Luz and Rashella are talking about and gets up Shakes Hair out of Face and goes back to the waitress and Flirt with her again,Makes her Luagh and mumers what i told Luz and Rashella "Some woman just fall to hard after just one look",smiles at her and askes for a refill.
I blinked, suddenly having a pool stick and a note in each hand, and wondering how those got there... I read the note : I'm new to this vampire thing. I won't hurt you, I promise! Would you like to hang out sometime?" Uncontrollably, a shiver went down my spine, as my pulse raced, and I crumbled the note in my hand, as Luz asked me what was on it. I pause, about to tell her, then think of the fact that I just met her and I have absolutely no reason to trust her. "Uhm, nothing. It's nothing." Then I hear a sharp feminine giggle, and spot the owner of the laugh a few tables away talking to Matt. A pang of jealousy runs through me until I realize that Matt wanted to make me jealous. Alright, I thought, two can play at that game. "Excuse me," I said to Luz, and walked towards the jukebox, catching Matt's wandering eye and holding it. I saw Jake, a boy who lived won the street from me, and slinked toward him, then whispered in his ear, "You wanna dance?" I had just met him directly after we moved here, but in my fit of jealousy and insane lust for this man, Matt, all of my sense of modesty was lost. Jake looked surprised by my offer, being a year or so younger than me, but slowly nodded his head. The song changed, to a quick song, and I realized that a lot of the customers in the restaurant were watching ,me. And I smiled. Let's give em' a show, I thought, as I moved closer to Jake until we were touching almost from head to toe. A slow, yet quick tempo song came on, and as Matt and my eyes linked again, and I was grinding against Jake, I realized that this was juvenile, immature, that of a desperate-attention wanter. "Sorry," I said to Jake. "Got to go." His face showed that of surprise yet again, though a quite different kind. In embarassment, feeling many eyes on me, I stumbled out of the Mystic Grill, tears stinging my eyes at my stupidity. So what Matt was watching, I thought to myself. EVERYONE was watching. The door slammed behind me and I went out into the night.
Matt Looks as Rashella walks out then rewinds time and starts back to where she was going to dance with the guy and goes up to him and then turns to her and says "Rashella lets talk i want to make things clear with us can you come seat with me at a table so we can have our piracy" turns to the guy and does a low snarl and smiles as he backs away from me and takes your hand in mine and says "Lets go talk" and sits you at a table and just looks at you and says "You wanna start off by telling me why you was going over there to that thing that Human Being in the first place and then why you get so mad when i was asking the waitress for another drink".

umm u know how u have these gut feelings well im having one of them rite know and im just going to put it out there i think that Matt is going to bite rashella and she is going to fall for him then luz wuld be like OMG. lolz thats wat i think what do u think
