| | Damon stood tall and stoic on the building roof, watching and waiting. He inhaled deeply as a soft breeze caressed his skin. His body felt electrified, anticipation was a heady thing. A smirk appeared on his face as he jumped from the roof landing gracefully on one knee. Damon intended on having a alot of fun tonight. Friday night in a small town, only one place to go, the Mystic Grill. He could hear the laughter and conversations of his unsuspecting victim's. Perfect... Anna was hiding in the shadows, watching him. Her obsidian black eyes were sharp and alert, a drop of blood dribbling down one corner of her mouth. She licked it off. She had already had a good feast. The couple hadn't even known what was coming. She smiled at the memory and slowly stepped out of the shadows... Damon entered the Grill and immediately sensed the wild energy. This certainly was the place to be tonight! It was packed with various types of patrons, including lots of young beautiful women out to have a good time. The place was hot and jumping, which made a good combination for pulsating heartbeats! As he took in his surroundings, he noticed a spot open at the bar and headed over for a drink ... Anna slipped into the Grill virtually unnoticed. She shook her head, watching Damon drinking and chatting up some woman. Anna went to the bathroom and checked herself, no need to scare anyone with blood on her. Satisfied she walked out scanning the crowd. Most were strangers to her but she spotted Jeremy and Elena Gilbert at a table with Stefan. Anna put her fingers to her lips, she remembered the kiss they had shared. She headed to the back with all the people dancing. She choose a secluded spot so that she could watch the crowd... Bonnie came into the Mystic Grill and wandered over to get a drink. She noticed Elena over at a table. She'll head over there later. After she took a few sips of my drink, Bonnie spotted Damon a few yards away. She was going to go and see why he was here then thought better of it and walked away towards Elena. "Hey Elena, hey Jeremy." Jeremy got up and hugged her, giving her a sad smile and walked away. "Bonnie, how are you?" Elena not sure exactly where she stood with Bonnie decided to keep the conversation neutral choosing to let Bonnie lead it. "Stefan." Bonnie gave him a half smile. Stefan stared intently for a moment trying to figure out if Bonnie was alright, then asked. "Are you thirsty?" "Yeah, I wouldn't mind a coke, if you don't mind." "No problem, be right back." Elena leaned in and tilted her head at Bonnie letting her know she had her full attention. Elena caught the tears welling up in Bonnie's eyes. She reached over an grasp Bonnie's hand giving it a little squeeze. "I'm alright, or at least as good as I can be at the moment." "Bonnie, I...I don't know what to say...I feel responsible..." Bonnie turned to stare at Damon's slumped shoulders. "Don't Elena, it's not your fault, it's his, and one day soon I'll get some retribution." Elena winced knowing Damon had heard. He had sat up straighter. Elena was torn, Grams was gone but Damon hadn't been completely at fault for that, and Elena knew he was going through his own personal hell right now... Anna watched the crowd from way in the back, in the shadows. She touched her lips again and a soft smile crossed her mouth, reaching her eyes. She was tempted to go over and talk to him, but knew taht probably wasn't the best idea...
