As annoyed I've become with this "Act like I'm in love with Damon, spend most of the storylines with Damon, but I'm 'in love with Stefan'" bull that the writers keep pulling, I have to say that they've done a good job to weave together the flourishing storylines that they hadn't come up with originally. Elena meeting Damon first but then compelling her to forget would explain why Bonnie saw the crow and the man when Bonnie touched her in the pilot, it would explain how Damon knew her name already and what she looked like in the pilot w/o having met her yet, and it adds a new layer of complexity to their romance. They way the writers have been going, I think Delena is going to be endgame. Just the way that Rose spoke of the two romances comparatively, the passionate kiss they shared at the motel (in my personal opinion the most emotional kiss I've seen on the show EVER), and the way they linked the whole "He just consumes me" and "You want a love that consumes you". I think they're hinting at it. I'm not hating on Stelena fans, that's just my opinion.

I agree with what you say, the way they wrote season 3 was clever. At the finale all questions were answered but in away that is reality based "I will tell you what you want to hear but only if you knew the truth.." kinda way. That it going to make for an exciting and jaw dropping season 4 (if writing the write way). It takes real talent to have people saying "what the.." than turning around in a flinch with a BAM leaving people to say ahhh now i get it, how perfect.
I cant wait to see what is in store for Season 4, I wonder if the "new" Elena is going to be more like Katherine.... Remember Katherine was all kinds of nice and sweet before she turned

The book seems to outdated and the characters tacky. Elena as brunette and not the typical blonde bombshell is an example, plus her character in the series can relate more to normal girls and seems more moral than Elena in the book. The vampire/werewolf/witch history in the series is A BILLION TIMES WAAAY BETTER than what was written in the books. Overall, the characters in the series are more interesting and fit their roles better than those in the book. The plot in the tv series is also better and less goofy than in the book. Even the history of Mystic Falls and the Salvatore Brothers/Elena/Katherine love triangles are better in the series

WTF Okay so Nina and Ian are a cute couple outside of the show but why... What about Stefan????? Im so irritated at tonights episode and I knew this ish was going to happen. I always said Elena over Bella but hey, at least Bella knew what she wanted!!

"I was confused at how tyler was still alive too...maybe the spell that bonnie cast protected all of them....i was cooking during the episode so I missed bits and pieces....but Rick HAS to go or go back to being rick somehow...he pissed me off last night....I think Elena should pick Damon...but I know she isnt....hell I'd pick him...he looks good enough to eat...lol..." Ok, since no one seems to know why Tyler is still alive....He's not actually Tyler, now he's Klaus. We have seen Klaus in Alaric's body and we've seen his mom Esther switch over to Rebecca's body so we know it's possible. I'm guessing Bonnie used the same spell Esther used to switch into Rebecca's body. SO. we know that Klaus is alive in Tylers body, what we don't know, is what happened to Tyler. And personally I think Elena should just get over Stefan and choose Damon already! And the ****** part is Damon met Elena way before Stefan, she just doesn't know it because he was stupid and compelled her to forget it. Plus Damon is way sexier than Stefan.

We're talking about fictional characters agreed. However our connection to it is based on how real can be for any of us in reality...... ( Lets say she chooses Damon, on the Basis that what he's hott, has a badboy edge, reckless, he is straight forward. He acts impulsively. He has control at times and he cares deeply- den in d face of trouble he acts out without care or remorse mostly. ) ( Stefan grow from having no control as defined as ( The Riper) - He works hard to subdue and overcome that part of himself. He knows its easy to turn off his humanity instead he suffers and pushes through the pain to overcome, in order to be sum 1 worthy of true Love) I'm sorry I respect all the characters in their ups and downs, but in good or bad Stefan suffers his compassion shows deeply. ) on that note its Stefan all the way......
