His lifeless body drifted above the ocean mist floating atop the fog. Deeper and deeper he went into the mist while Audrea raced to ocean front howling in her werewolf form – the tides crashing about the rocks, spraying the lighthouse. Thaddeus tried to call to Celia. He tried to force his way into her mind but she had blocked him. Celia was now a ringed vampire. She had strengths and powers far beyond any she ever had before. Even in his most desperate moments, Thaddeus could reach Celia. Even when he was weakened by silver as long as Celia was open to Thaddeus, she could hear him. Being ringed meant Celia had certain responsibilities to the race of vampires and above all she couldn’t allow suspicions to yield attention to her own secrets. So, she did the only thing she could do. Celia had left Thaddeus to be with Audrea.
Another Except This is actually a few chapters before the previous except. They stood in silence, the gray of the night wrapping around them, smiles on their faces. Audrea stuck her finger in the air and motioned for Thaddeus to turn around. She took a few steps back, she ran and jumped on his back. Thaddeus, as stiff and a board didn’t flinch. He caught her just as her chest met him. “Whoa!” Audrea said surprised by his strength. “Did you think I would drop you?” Thaddeus looked over his shoulder with a devilish smirk on his face. Audrea pushed her hair, that was now dry, to the side and rested her head on his shoulder. “Hold on tight and when I tell you to, close your eyes.“ Thaddeus started to walk home. He reached the bend in the road and decided to walk on the asphalt until he came to the small opening that only he and Celia knew of to get to their house. He reached the small hole in the stone wall and ordered Audrea to close her eyes. She rested gently on his back. Her hands clasped tightly on his chest. Her head was nestled in the groove of his shoulder blade. She closed her eyes.

3rd Except...
With every inhale Celia could taste her ripe virgin blood. She had never been bitten and to have that first drop was euphoric. A rush pulsed through Celia. Her tongue flittered about the edge of her teeth. Just by holding the body in her arms she could feel the story of this feeds life. She was no saint but she wasn’t evil. If she was to die tonight, she would be missed Celia thought. The girl didn’t really deserve to die but, Celia and Thaddeus needed to feed. In that justification, there was no remorse. Blood tinged hair floated in Celia’s face. She could remember the taste of tequila from her breath. Celia brought her down the chimney as she did Thaddeus just one night ago. She took her up the stone steps to piano. Thaddeus opened his eyes and his fangs were revealed.
